- Can I add products myself?
Yes you are able to add a description of the product,
price of the product, picture of the product, a model number, and the
amount in stock. Depending on the adon you choose you may also be able
to, post multiple pictures, post multiple language descriptions, change
color and size of text, and much more.
- Can I add categories myself?
Yes you may add unlimited categories as well as
subcategories; you are also able to add a picture which may represent
the category or subcategory.
- Can I add non-product pages myself?
The Shopping Cart does not come slandered with
this option. There is a module available which allows you to add extra
pages yourself the installation fee is $250.
- Can I sell a downloadable product such as E-books ort software?
Yes.
- How many products can I add?
Quick answer is about 1,450 products on a standered
hosting plan.
The Shopping Cart allows you to add an unlimited amount of products.
The amount of space you are allowed on the server may limit the number
of products you are able to add for example: Our stander hosting plan
allows for 150megs, a slandered installation takes up about 4 Megabytes;
this leaves you with about 145 Megabytes each product you ad with 1
picture takes about 100k this will give you enough room for about 1450
products.
- Is the Shopping Cart search engine friendly?
Yes it is, but certain modules due not work when
the Shopping Cart is set to be search engine friendly.
- What merchant services can I use with this system?
First of all I would like to point out that the
Shopping Cart offers several payment options to the user. The Shopping
Cart comes standard with these payment options: Authorize.net, Credit
Card, Cash on Delivery, iPayment, Check/Money Order, NOCHEX, PayPal,
2CheckOut, PSiGate, and SECPay. If the merchant gateway you would like
to use is not listed we could integrate any gateway into it for an additional
$150 installation fee.
- What shipping options do I have?
Flat Rate, Per Item, Table Rate “based on
weight or price”, United Parcel Service, United States Postal
Service. There are many other shipping options you may choose at an
addition $150 installation fee.
- Can I offer coupon codes or gift certificates?
The Shopping Cart does not come slandered with
this but there are several modules we may install, each module has different
attributes such as, coupon codes good only for particular products,
a coupon code good all products or a custom coupon system based on your
requirements, price for installation varies from $150 - $800 depending
on requirement.
- How does the transaction section work?
First of all you are able to view by client and
see their purchase history; you may also total orders shown by date.
If you need a more detailed transaction system or do not like something
about the transaction system we could further customize this for you,
price varies depending on complexity. You may also perform a search
based in order ID or name.
- Can I charge taxes based on zones, countries or classes?
Yes, the Shopping Cart has a very complex tax
system which allows you to add taxes based on multiple areas.
- Can I offer the Shopping Cart to be translated into different
languages?
Yes the Shopping Cart comes slandered with 3 different
languages, English (default), Deutsch, Español. The actual translation
is not available you must due the translation yourself. If you need
other languages added we may install this feature at an additional $50
per language.
- Can I add different currencies?
Yes, the system comes slandered with the Euro,
US Dollar (default), you have the ability to add new currencies at no
extra charge.
- Is there a banner system?
Yes there is a standard banner system which rotates
banner and allows you to place them based an amount of time or impressions.
This is ideal for selling add space or making money from affiliate programs.
- Is there a newsletter system?
Yes there is a simple newsletter system which
allows you to send out to everyone who has subscribed to the newsletter.
There are more advanced newsletter systems available for an additional
installation fee of $150-$500.
- Can I perform a database back up myself?
Yes in fact we hold you accountable for this.
It is very simple with a full back up, and all you have to do is click
once. “Note: since this is offered we do not perform back ups.”
- Is there a static’s system to view which products are
being purchased and viewed most often and least often?
Yes there is a full static’s system only
for products viewed and purchased, it is listed in order of most viewed
and most purchased and shows the number of views and purchasing. This
is a very strong tool for marketing purposes.
